Discover your place at Bethany College!

Many of our students and alumni point to their campus visit as the moment when they knew that Bethany was the place for them. One visit to Bethany and you’ll see why. Nestled on 1,300 beautiful acres in the rolling hills of the Allegheny Mountains, Bethany College is located just an hour’s drive from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, one of America’s greatest cities with a vibrant social and cultural scene, restaurants, clubs, sports teams, and entertainment. We’re also just a few minutes from historic Wheeling, West Virginia, which boasts shopping, restaurants, and more.

On-Campus Visits

Our personalized visits to campus begin with a meeting with your admissions counselor who will provide details about the admissions and financial aid processes as well as answer questions you may have about life at Bethany College. This is YOUR visit so you may also be meeting with faculty, coaches, residence life professionals or others you have asked to meet.

Following this meeting, a student guide will lead you on a campus walking tour. Our student guides love telling their stories and answering questions, so this a great opportunity to learn firsthand what it’s like to be a student at Bethany. This tour requires approximately one hour so wear comfortable shoes!

If you have asked to sit in on a class, please be prepared to stay for the entire class (generally one hour). In total, your campus visit may require three hours.

If you prefer interacting with other students also considering Bethany College enrollment or just like a larger group experience, Open House and Information Sessions are events to consider attending.

Open House/Information Session events include information sessions about admissions and financial aid for both you and your family. Move from this session to an Academic Session featuring opportunities to speak with faculty who represent each of the academic programs available at Bethany. This is a great opportunity to explore our academic offerings! Interested in student clubs, organizations, or athletics? You can learn more about them in a third session!

Conclude your day with a campus tour and learn more about our history and some fun facts!

Open House events generally require four hours (more if you join us for lunch) and are offered at scheduled times throughout the year.
